Fees

Who pays what, when, and where it goes. Numbers on this page are read from mintee's live settings; fees charged by pump.fun, Magic Eden and Solana are theirs and can change.

Last updated October 2, 2026. Nothing here is financial advice.

Creator fee split

Every trade of a pump.fun coin pays a creator fee to the coin. For coins launched on mintee that fee is split on chain at launch, and the split is locked: nobody can change it later, including mintee. Try the creator's two choices below.

Defaults shown: NFT holders 20%, floor sweep 10%. A coin launched without a collection splits 90% creator, 10% mintee.

    Every fee in one table

"Locked" means fixed on chain or in the collection when it is created, so it cannot change for that coin or collection afterwards.

    For creators

Launching a coin and its collection

You approve once in Phantom: one prompt covers the collection and the coin transactions. Phantom shows the total before you sign. You pay:

    • Your dev buy. Required. You choose the amount and receive the coins. pump.fun's trading fee applies to it like any buy.
    • Network fees and rent for the new coin's accounts, set by Solana and pump.fun. pump.fun charges nothing to create a coin.
    • Fee split setup: 0.02 SOL. It funds a wallet mintee holds for your coin, which creates pump.fun's fee-sharing account (that account's rent), locks your split, and pays the network fees to distribute your creator fees later. It is not refunded.
    • Fee collection gas: 0.003 SOL to mintee's gas wallet, which pays for collecting and distributing creator fees over time.
    • Permanent storage on Arweave, paid from your wallet straight to Arweave (through ArDrive Turbo), before anything is stored. mintee never receives or holds it. Unique or generated art is paid in one approval before it uploads. The collection's metadata, plus one metadata file for every NFT still to mint, rides in the launch approval as a separate transfer to Arweave. The quote is Arweave's price plus a 10% buffer because that price moves. Storage credit is not refundable: anything unused stays on your account (or your collection) and pays for your next upload.

Choosing an address ending (…mint, …pump or your own) is free.

    Your creator fee split

pump.fun pays a creator fee on every trade of your coin: 0.30% of each trade on the bonding curve and 0.05% to 0.95% after graduation, depending on market cap (pump.fun's schedule, below). At launch you choose how that fee is shared, and it is locked on chain:

    • NFT holders: 0% to 40% (default 20%), into the collection's rewards pool.
    • Floor sweep: 0% to 30% (default 10%), into the collection's sweep wallet. 0% means no floor sweep.
    • mintee: a fixed 10% (5% treasury, 5% buys and burns the mintee token (coming)).
    • You: the rest, to your fee wallet. mintee collects it automatically; you never claim by hand.

A coin launched without a collection splits 90% to you and 10% to mintee. A coin you launched elsewhere and add a collection to can take the same split when you route its fees to mintee, if its pump.fun split is not locked yet. A coin that does not route its fees pays mintee nothing.

    Mints and royalties

    • SOL mints: your "SOL burn share" (default 100%) of each SOL mint buys your coin and burns it. The rest of the SOL goes to your fee wallet. mintee takes no cut of mints.
    • Coin mints: all the coins are burned. Neither you nor mintee receives any of them.
    • Royalties: you set 0% to 10% (default 5%) on resales, paid to your fee wallet or split between up to 5 wallets. They are written on chain and you control them as the collection owner. Whether a marketplace collects them is up to that marketplace.
    • Edits after launch: changing the logo, links or description stores new metadata from your collection's storage budget (only while the collection allows updates; NFTs already minted are locked and never change). When the budget runs low, the Collection tab asks you to top it up (one approval, paid straight to Arweave). The small network fee of the on-chain update is paid by mintee.

    For collectors

    Minting

    • The price is in SOL. It follows the creator's curve by mint order, and never drops below 1.1x the collection's Magic Eden floor once there is one. The page shows the exact price before you approve; if it moves more than 1% you are asked again.
    • Pay in SOL: the creator's SOL burn share buys the coin and burns it, and the rest goes to the creator's fee wallet. The buy pays pump.fun's trading fee like any buy.
    • Pay in the coin: you pay the SOL price less the collection's holder discount (default 15%), in coins valued at the lower of their 30-minute average and current price. All of it is burned.
    • Network costs: a little SOL for the NFT's own account (rent) and the network fee, including the small rent of the plugins that lock it on chain, plus a tiny amount for a random reveal. Phantom shows the total.
    • Can a creator change my NFT after I buy it? No. Every NFT is locked on chain when it is minted (a random one when it is revealed, seconds later; a reveal-later one at the collection's reveal). Its name, image and traits can never change again: not by the creator, not by mintee, not by you. Royalties stay as the collection set them.
    • Can the supply grow? Only through airdrops. A collection shows "Airdrops on" when its owner turned them on, which is permanent: the owner can then send NFTs to wallets, including honoraries (one-off NFTs outside the supply), until the collection is locked forever. Airdrops from the collection itself stop at sold out.

    Trading

    • The coin trades on pump.fun. mintee's trade box adds no fee of its own; pump.fun's trading fee, slippage and price impact apply.
    • NFTs trade on Magic Eden. Magic Eden sets its own marketplace fees, and the collection's royalty applies where Magic Eden collects it.

    Holder rewards and floor sweep

Both are paid for by the coin's trading, through the creator fee split. Neither is a fee you pay, and neither is a dividend, yield or a promise of any amount.

    • Holder rewards (rolling out): the holders' share collects in the collection's rewards pool. When the pool holds at least 0.25 SOL, it is paid in SOL to the wallets holding the NFTs, weighted by how long each NFT has been held. Network fees come out of the pool; very small shares carry forward to the next payout. An NFT listed for sale does not earn while it is listed.
    • Floor sweep (rolling out): the sweep share collects in the sweep wallet. When it holds enough, it buys the cheapest NFT listed on Magic Eden and relists it at 1.2x. When that sells, the SOL buys the coin back and burns it. Magic Eden's fees, royalties and network fees come out of the sweep.
    • mintee takes nothing from either one.

    What mintee keeps

    • 10% of creator fees on coins that route their fees through mintee, set in each coin's locked split. Half goes to the mintee treasury and half buys and burns the mintee platform token (coming). The platform token has not launched yet; until it does, its share collects in mintee's buyback wallet and is spent on buy and burn once the token exists.
    • The launch setup amounts above (fee split setup and fee collection gas), which pay for running your coin's fee split.

mintee takes no cut of mints, royalties, trades through its trade box, holder rewards or the floor sweep.

    Third-party fees

These are set by others, are not received by mintee, and may change at any time. Check the source before you rely on a number.

A selection of pump.fun's 25 market-cap tiers; the creator fee steps down between them. Creating a coin costs nothing on pump.fun; graduation to PumpSwap costs 0.015 SOL, charged by pump.fun.

    Magic Eden

Magic Eden charges its own marketplace fees on NFT trades and decides how royalties are collected. See Magic Eden for its current rates.

    Solana

Every transaction pays a network fee (a base fee plus an optional priority fee) to Solana's validators. New accounts, such as a token account or an NFT, hold a rent deposit set by Solana. Phantom shows both before you sign.

    Arweave

Permanent storage is priced by Arweave through ArDrive Turbo, in SOL, at the time you pay. Your wallet pays Turbo directly; Turbo takes its own service fee out of the payment. Turbo credits are not refundable. mintee quotes the amount live before you approve.

    Worked examples

$100,000 of trading in your coin

With the split set above (20% holders, 10% sweep), on pump.fun's current schedule:

Who gets itOn the bonding curveAfter graduation

"After graduation" uses the PumpSwap tier for a 420 to 1,470 SOL market cap. Traders pay these amounts inside each trade. Dollar figures assume the creator fee is valued at the same price as the trades.

    One 0.05 SOL mint

How the collector paysWhere it goes
0.05 SOL, SOL burn share 100% (the default)All 0.05 SOL buys the coin on pump.fun and those coins are burned. pump.fun's fee on that buy (1.25% on the curve, about 0.000625 SOL) includes the coin's creator fee, which is split as above. The creator's fee wallet gets no SOL from this mint.
0.05 SOL, SOL burn share 50%0.025 SOL buys the coin and burns it; 0.025 SOL goes to the creator's fee wallet.
In the coin, holder discount 15%Coins worth 0.0425 SOL (at the lower of the 30-minute average and current price) are burned. Nobody receives them.

In every case the collector also pays the NFT's account rent and the network fee, and mintee receives nothing from the mint.

    Changes

mintee may change its fees for future launches and future actions. A change never reaches back: a coin's locked split, a collection's holder discount and its price rules stay as they were set. Third parties change their own fees on their own schedule. See the Terms of Service for the full terms.
